As of right now, the hesitancy with which I’ve created this account is outweighing the certainty of a creative idea. [*]

I journal.  I always have, and probably always will.  I have notebooks filled with everything, [ideas, research, lists, essays, commentary, facts] as well as a 10-year running personal journal.

My “idea,” therefore, was to acquire a virtual space in which I could focus solely on my creative life.  Currently I’m a student, and I’m working with two professors in the English department on a lot of independent study.  However, aside from these mentors, I rarely have the opportunity to bounce my work off other people.  Perhaps this silly site could help. (?? And with this statement follows my doubt.)

A lot of what will be posted, I believe, will be in relation to literature and where my studies have wandered from their original source inspirations.  I’d like, if at all possible, to establish some community of writer “friends” (oh, it stings!) who would be willing to share where their readings have taken them.
